please allow me to track back to wednesday's class outing.
even though there had only been 6 people- cheryl, jess, me, reubs, willy & habib, we had a helluva fun. we wanted to go settlers cafe but it was fully booked till 5.30pm, so we headed to clarke quay to have our lunch first as cheryl was nearly dying from hunger[there's no such words as 'full' or 'satiated' or 'bloated' in her dictionary actually]. Hooters it was and the waitresses wore sleeveless tight-fitted white tops and a sexy super-short shorts. woo-la-la. all of us except cheryl had set lunches. mine was really deli! satisfied.

then i recalled a mind cafe somewhere in (a)clarke quay or (b)boat quay and so began the search for The Mind Cafe. we saw a whole list of restaurants in clarke quay and didnt find it so we walked further down to boat quay and TA-DAH! found it tucked neatly along the rows and rows of shops along singapore river.
luckily for us, it wasnt crowded at all. the furniture were all nice and the ambience was cosy. so much nicer than the settlers cafe at holland v!
first game up was saboteurs. they loved it just like i did! fun fun FUN. then cheryl had to leave first. so left 5 of us. we played quite a few of reaction games and habib certainly was the entertainer of The day. his reaction was damn damn wols!!
we left around 6pm and bumped into our ex biology teacher charis lee. so coincidental.

lectures so far were all alright.
Statistics & Quantitative Methods- prof was an indian with a super heavy accent and most of us were drowned in his monotonous talks. foutunately, he had an ounce of humour and made the whole lecture, consisting of stats and the likes, slightly more tolerable.
Principles of Economics- a female Dr. whatever was quirky and witty and i understood most parts of the lecture. clap.clap.clap since that was the first time ever i attended an econs lect and i could follow quite closely. finally i know what the demand&supply graph is all about!
Organisational Behaviour & Design- her big name was Dr. Lai Si Tsui-Auch and she warned us before-hand that her 'Auch' wasnt to be pronounced as 'Ouch'. that really tickled the audience. anws fel suspected her to be a hongkonger. her last name came about as she married a german. interesting lect once again since we were shown a video for around 20min.
Marketing- alright this was the most enjoyable lect of all cuz the guy spent 1 hour talking crap! haha not exactly crap but stuff about the other profs and scoring in marketing. hey it was really interesting as he did used words like 'idiot' and 'bullshit'. apparently he didnt give any shit to using those words.

orientation on monday was semi-fun. there's this girl whom i know and is also in business and i was just telling minshan on the way to school that i didnt want people like her to be in my tutorial group. in the end i didnt get people like her, i got her. grrr. she may be ok to some but i just dont have any good feelings towards her. anws 19 out of 23 came and after lunch, only 7 left. lol. we had some poster and mascot competition so with renewed zest and determination since there's only 7 of us left, our facilitator Sharm was urging us to win it! haha so we built a big ship with legos as our mascot. we emerged as the 1^st runner-up eventually which was really surprising as there're 40++ groups in all.

then yesterday had 2 lectures. met up with 3 girls who left first cuz they went to canteen A to have their lunch which was at the other end of where we were supposed to gather -.-"
i found a new friend named gek sing who has a da4 zhong4 lian3 [common face] and both fel and me were teasing her about it lol. oh fel isnt in my tut grp but got to know gek too cuz we all went to buy laptops together after the lectures. they bought the acer super small laptop which is only 1.5kg and im getting the tablet since my dad permits. gek left to meet her friend. fel and me toured around the cca booths. we sincerely wanted to join some sports cca but those seniors at the booth looked so arrogant and intimidating. ok then she thought it better to join some cca that'll look good on our resume. smart girl. maybe we'll join the ABC- Accountancy and Business Club.

i still feel quite lost after 2 days and i didnt really make any new friends cuz fel was my jc classmate and gek was maybe the only new friend i made. HAHA.
on a happier note, i passed my FTT! it was so easy but i think its cuz im taking auto.


i caught My Super Ex-Girlfriend at JP with reubs at night. it's a crazy show with a story plot that totally doesnt make any sense. lol. catch it for some real entertainment though.

meeting up with some of my jc classmates at clarke quay later. we're going to settlers cafe! yay.

went to NTU to check out the laptops with reubs in the morning. ive been rather adamant to get the apple macbook but when i lifted it with both my hands, it weighed like a tonne[im exaggerating its actually 2.36kg]! yeah 2.36kg for a laptop is heavy, at least for me. so i decided to get the fujitsu lifebook, weighing at 1.8kg. plus some upgrade, itll be a good enough lappie for me. i really like the tablet pc too but too expensive lah.



and so we caught Click at jurong point after a nice and heavy lunch at pizza hut. when we called for bill, one of the waitresses was telling us to pay at counter. it was rather weird cuz usually the bill was sent to our table. reubs told me to wait outside for him while he queued to pay. he took quite a while and when he came out, i queried what took him so long. turned out that he complained to the manager why wasnt the bill sent to our table. the manager was very apologetic and minus off the 10% service charge on our total bill. haha. way to go reubs, please complain more.

back to the movie. it was very nice! wacky story plot- tick. humourous- tick. touching- tick. meaningful- tick. 4/5 stars :D

a before-going-to-school change! yeah at least i know ive done something constructive in these last few days of freedom. the pictures are a little unclear though, think cuz i resized them.

i needa apply for my tuition grant asap but am missing some information. have been trying to organise a class outing but as reubs has aptly put it, i need to stop the world for everybody to be present. yes thats how busy some of our class peeps are. so tentatively cheryl and i agreed to postpone it to national day. dont tell me youre going to NDP hor!

im just stuck at home most of the days, watching tv and rotting in front of the com, then go for tuition.

my 1^st sem's timetable is alright but of cuz, there's still much room for improvement. i must plan wisely next sem! lessons are from mon-wed and fri. so at least thurs im free to go t**ning with Ade. i have a 4-hours break in between my lessons on friday but luckily, i have fel for company since she suffers the same fate as me lol. i think one of the courses im taking this sem is principles of econs. stab me with a blunt knife please.

im feeling lucky! i was just refreshing the pages of theory tests booking this afternoon and managed to change my FTT to a much earlier date which is next tues. originally it was on 22^nd aug. and i havent studied yet. hopefully i will get my TP in nov then maybe i can get my license faster than my second brother woohoo. and drive my dad's car!!! which i will take some time to adapt to cuz its much bigger than the lousy honda im driving now. anws i saw linluan at some carpark learning parallel parking yesterday while i was learning u-turning. talk about the world being small. or rather singapore.

by the way i went town with minshan on monday to chill. had lunch at jack's place again and the dessert was so much better than the one i had on sunday. she bought her bag at far east and i bought my highlighters at popular :D

wow i cant believe school's gonna start soon and i am really looking forward to it. honestly.
